Hotel — Steam Hotel, Västerås
Hotel Basic info
We’ll be staying at the iconic Steam Hotel in Västerås — a former power plant turned into a modern, industrial-style hotel right by Lake Mälaren.
We’ll have access to a dedicated conference space that will act as our HQ throughout the event. This is where we’ll work, collaborate, and where the teams will present. Coffee, snacks, and a focused atmosphere will be provided to keep the energy up during the days.
We arrive at the hotel at around 12:30 on Friday.
Don’t forget your computer, charger (and swimsuit!).
On Saturday evening after dinner, we’ve booked Kokpunkten, the hotel’s award-winning spa and adventure pool area. Expect pools, jacuzzis, saunas — and a pretty unforgettable setting.
It’s not primarily about the end-result of the project - but all about the learning
Umain HEX is our chance to step outside our comfort zone and experiment with new technologies, expanding our skills and pushing our team forward.
By exploring fresh tools and ideas, we’ll uncover new possibilities, tackle challenges, and grow as a tech team.
More than just learning new tech, we’ll strengthen our collaboration, mentoring, and communication—building a culture of innovation and shared growth.
